HANDS ON CANNING CLASS

Join us for the Hands on Canning Class at the 4-H Camp & Activities Center on Basford Rd. in Frederick, MD from 11am until about 4pm. This class will be taught by Donielle Axline, a local agriculture education teacher and past 4-H Extension Agent with a TON of knowledge in canning. She use to teach all the canning classes at the 4-H Extension Office in Frederick and has taught me everything I know about canning. 

This class will give you HANDS ON experience with canning. You will go over the important things about canning and even can two different items - water bath canning and pressure canning. You will go home with two canned items, a canning book and so much knowledge to start or continue your canning journey. You DO NOT need to have any prior canning experience to take this course. You do not need to bring your own canning materials, but you are more than welcome to. 

I highly suggest (but not required) taking the previous two courses or at least the Intro to Canning class before diving into this one!

CLASS 1: Intro to Gardening > September 25th from 7pm - 830pm
